Screen. Monitor. Decide.
One path from a first scan to continuous visibility. Each step stands on its own, and each one makes the next more valuable.
Where each tool fits
Start from the problem, not the instrument.
| You are worried about | We use | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Wall loss under coatings or insulation, corrosion you cannot see | Pulsed eddy current | A wall-thickness map of the asset, verified with UT at set points |
| Cracking at welds, nozzles and connections | Eddy current array | Every indication located and pinned on the 3D model for follow-up |
| A fast-wearing or high-consequence section you cannot keep re-visiting | Sensor wrap | Continuous wall readings and a replace-by forecast against your minimum wall |
| A buried line that cannot be shut down, pigged or dug up end to end | Pulsed eddy current, plus a sensor wrap at an access point | Assessment from the outside, and permanent monitoring from a single excavation |
| Fifty years of paper records and no baseline | LiDAR, photogrammetry and HELIX Horizon | One registered 3D record of everything measured, the baseline every future look builds on |
Screening, not certification. HELIX screening prioritises where to look next and does not certify to any code scheme. Fitness-for-service remains a regulated engineering assessment carried out by your engineers. Individual technical specifications (HLX-SPC series) are available on request.
Start with one asset.
Pick one section where better data would change a maintenance decision. We scope a contained pilot and define the path to broader deployment.
