Privacy

This page covers helixsensors.com, our public marketing site. It is short because the site does very little: it has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, and no comment or chat features. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, or anything else. The only way to contact us from here is the email link in the footer, which opens your own mail app — nothing is sent to us until you decide to send it.

What we do collect: page-view counts

We run Vercel Web Analytics so we can tell which pages people actually read and whether a campaign brought anyone here. It records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, and a country and device type worked out from your request.

What we do not do

Our web host (Vercel) keeps ordinary server logs, which can include IP addresses, as any web server does. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files.

The product is covered separately

The Helix dashboard and our public demo are a different application with their own, much longer policy — accounts, sensor data, retention, and your rights over it all live there: app.helixsensors.com/privacy. Nothing on this marketing site can see anything in your Helix account, and the analytics described above does not run on the signed-in dashboard.

Questions

Questions, requests, and complaints about personal information go to our privacy officer, Cohen Van Kalsbeek (CTO and Co-founder): info@helixsensors.com, 1774 Billington Rd, Bowen Island, BC, Canada V0N 1G2. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca); Quebec residents can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

If we change what this site collects, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
